Most Effective Nursing Home Administrator Exam Review Course in the Nation
My name is Stan Mucinic and I offer the most unique and effective nursing home administrator licensing exam preparation course with a 95% or better pass rate.
I am a licensed nursing home administrator with Master’s Degree in Health Care administration and a Master’s Degree in Psychology.
My students' success is based on my personal commitment and the time I spend with each of them, ensuring they understand the critical concepts and regulations in managing a nursing home.
The National Exam is a standardized exam that every individual applying for a nursing home administrator license must pass in all 50 states. My national exam preparation course is valid in all 50 states.
Many states additionally require applicants to pass a state laws and rules exam that tests your knowledge of that state's specific laws and regulations. I have a review course for state-based laws and rules exams in Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Missouri, Michigan, South Carolina and Texas.
On average, almost half of all test takers fail the national exam on their first attempt. For those who make a second attempt, half of those will fail again. It is extremely discouraging, and as a practical matter, can shatter an individual’s confidence and determination to continue towards licensure. Many people just give up trying.
My program is not a weekend class or a book of exams. This is a unique, highly individualized mentoring program where I mentor my clients one-on-one by phone and through emails.
I provide you a highly individualized study program that teaches you the critical knowledge and skills you need to pass your licensing exams in the way that you learn.
Every one processes information differently and that is why "one size fits all" weekend courses or books are not effective for all individuals.
I do an exhaustive review with you and make sure you know the concepts and information you need to know to pass before you take your exams. I want to know that you have a substantive understanding of the regulations and the critical concepts and practices necessary to pass the exams.
By working with my clients I can literally map out how your brain processes information and develop a structured study program that will maximize your time and energy to quickly learn and retain the information you need to pass your exams.
My courses are priced to be affordable and accessible to those who need my help the most, and are based on what my students can reasonably afford. Starting from $199.
If I charged by the hour, the individuals who need my help the most would not be able to afford my services. I will give you the time you need to thoroughly prepare for your exams and learn the skills and competencies you need to succeed.
I have taught these courses over 8 years and designed and refined my program to be a resource to help those individuals who genuinely want to be a nursing home administrator, and want a solid foundation of knowledge and skills to ensure their future success.
You can read the individual testimonials of clients I have helped to pass their exams. Many of them came to me after they had failed one or more times.
I am investing my time in helping you to develop the basic competencies and skills you need to have the opportunity to work in a rewarding profession and be prepared for the challenges that face you. I have observed individuals pass their exams and get their license only to fail to find a job or keep it because they lacked the knowledge and skills necessary to competently execute their responsibilities as a licensed administrator.
You can complete my programs in as little as a week or 2 or take longer. It all depends on your goals and the time frame you have to complete your exams. You do not have to leave the comfort of your home and can work the program wherever you want. I will stay with you util you pass your exam and I will not give up until you pass.
I also have online flash cards that are extremely powerful tools in learning and retaining the huge amounts of information you must learn and be able to recall for the exams.
Most individuals who have completed college programs and internships recognize that their training and preparation in most instances is not really adequate to prepare them for the the reality of the demands they will face. My programs are designed to bridge that experience and knowledge gap to provide you the essential knowledge and skills to meet the challenges you will face.
My A-I-T Training Manual and Nursing Home Administrator Practice Manual are specifically designed to provide you hundreds of practice tips essential to effectively deal with the issues you will need to handle. You were most likely never exposed to these concepts and never trained to deal with them or are even aware of them, but you need to know them to be successful. Whether an AIT or an assistant administrator or a new administrator, these are essential resources to handle complex financial, nursing, social services, maintenance, rehab, laundry, housekeeping, and Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement and survey issues.
Once you are licensed I can help you develop a killer resume and do mock interviews with you to increase your chances of securing an NHA job. Interviews for an assistant administrator or administrator position often involve 3 - 4 levels of interviews with the final interview with the company CEO.
Most people underestimate the detail and intensity of the questions you will be asked in these interviews to demonstrate your knowledge and experience in managing a skilled nursing facility. Through a series of mock interviews and questionnaires, we will identify your strengths and weaknesses, and help you to formulate a response to the most often asked questions. If you are not prepared you will will not make it through the phone interview.
And once you get that first job, you may find yourself quickly overwhelmed by the complexity and demands of the job. I am available to help you as your personal consultant to help you navigate the challenges you will face once you are the administrator of record through my NHA Consulting Service.
Most new administrators greatly underestimate the complexity and pressures you will quickly face within the first few days and weeks settling into their new job.
Within a day or two the pressures and demands start building and having a resource you can call for advice and guidance can be invaluable to managing your stress, and be the first steps to developing skills and technical proficiency in handling your day to day responsibilities.
I can help you by explaining what we do and how we do it, and to how to handle situations as they arise. This is an investment in your career that may help you to retain your job which can pay $85K to $100K per year.

Most newly licensed administrators greatly underestimate the intensity of the interview process that you must successfully navigate to secure an NHA position. You are applying for the position of CEO of a mufti-million dollar company, and the hiring managers need to make sure you have the knowledge, skills and experience to handle the challenges ahead.
If you are just starting out or have been seeking a job for a while, I can help you professionally package and present your knowledge and skills and give you that competitive edge.
Preparation is the key to success. Do not leave it to chance that you can wing it. You only get one chance to make that first impression.
Administrator In Training Manual
This manual is a must have for anyone who is starting or currently completing an administrator in training (A-I-T) program for their administrator license.
The manual is designed to enrich your AIT experience by providing you specific activities and tasks to complete as you rotate through the various departments in your nursing home internship site.
The majority of individuals who complete an A-I-T program report that they felt that their training was not sufficient to prepare them for the challenges they will face as the administrator of record. There is no model training program for nursing home administrators and the length and quality of individual training programs varies greatly.
Most AIT training programs are designed around completing specific taks ( compelete 30 hours in resident care, complete 15 hours in maintenance, etc.) And there is usually a checklist of topic areas to cover but there is not specific information for you to check off that you learned. There are no specific questions to ask facility staff. The state licensing board focuses on the hours you completed the areas covered. There is no real measurement of what exactly was learned.
I developed this resource based on my conversations with hundreds of individuals who have completed a state approved AIT program. I was astounded t learn what basic and more critical information AITs were not exposed to or taught.
The transition from a line staff member or licensed health care professional to the CEO of multi-million dollar company in one of the most heavily regulated and complicated industries in this country is made all the more challenging because of what new administrators do not know.
No single resource can teach you everything you need to know to handle the issues you will face, but this manual provides you much of the information you need to get the chance to keep your job long enough to develop that knowledge and skills.
'The manual is written in a concise format that is easy to read but is dense in the substantive information it provides you.
